Privacy & AI notice
What this site collects, why, and what our concept imagery does and does not mean — in plain language.
Draft for review. This notice describes how the website is actually built. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer for Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 or the other jurisdictions our clients are based in, and will be replaced with a reviewed version.
Who we are
PROWORKX Concepts is an interior design, bespoke build and project concierge practice based in Nairobi, Kenya. For anything in this notice, write to the email address shown on our contact page.
What we collect
Project enquiries. When you send the enquiry form we store your name, email address, optional phone number, project type, location, stage and message, together with the date, your IP address and browser type (so we can deal with abuse).
Studio briefs. When you send a brief from the AI Studio we store your answers — room, direction, dimensions, indicative budget, priorities and email address — and, if you choose to attach one, a room photograph or floor plan.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, identity documents, payment details or information about anybody else's health, beliefs or finances.
Why we use it
Only to reply to you, prepare advice or a quotation you have asked for and, if a project goes ahead, to run it. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We do not sell your information, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Uploaded files
Files attached to a Studio brief are transferred over an encrypted connection and stored privately — outside the public part of the website, readable only by the PROWORKX team through a password-protected administration area. They are never published.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Project records are kept for as long as warranties and legal obligations require. You can ask us to delete your enquiry and any attached file at any time.
Cookies
This site sets only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) token that protect the forms from forgery. There are no analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why you are not shown a consent banner. Links to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and WhatsApp take you to those platforms, whose own terms then apply.
Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 you may ask to be informed about, access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and object to its processing. Write to us and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
AI and concept imagery
Concepts presented on this site — including Studio material and portfolio imagery labelled as concept direction — are illustrative. They indicate atmosphere, material direction and spatial intent. They are not construction information, and nothing shown here should be relied on for design, pricing, fabrication or construction decisions without a measured survey, resolved drawings, real samples and a priced specification.

Some photography and background film on this site is licensed stock used under the respective providers' licences for commercial web use (Unsplash, Pexels). Where imagery is concept direction rather than a delivered PROWORKX project, it is labelled as such.
