01 — The piece
In detail.
The Ember's shade graduates from deep olive-bronze at the crown to clear at the rim, so it reads as an object in daylight and becomes a soft amber glow once it is lit. The lamp holder is antique brass, and the flex is twisted natural jute rather than plastic cable.
Hang one on its own over a side table, or a row of three over an island or a dining table, at a drop set from the height of the surface below. We recommend putting it on its own dimmable circuit.
