01 — The piece
In detail.
No two Naivasha tables are the same, because no two slabs are. The top is a single length of hardwood with its natural edge kept, oiled to bring up the grain, and set on crossed trestle legs that leave plenty of room for chairs and knees.
A dining table is the piece most people get the wrong size, because it is bought before the room is measured. This one is made the other way round: we start from the room, the chairs and the number of people you actually feed, and choose the slab from there.
